The Official MistressMovie
Versailles, 1788. To rescue his crumbling reputation, Louis XVI is advised to appoint an “official mistress”. Against her will, he chooses the brilliant young Countess Madeleine, a woman who would rather read Rousseau than share a king’s bed.
